Ash Cemetery Chapel Memorial Window after work © Ash District Local History Museum Society, 2007Stained glass windows in the Grade II listed Ash cemetery chapel are a memorial to the fallen of the Great War from Ash, Wyke and Normandy. A vine and grape design are found at the top and the bottom with a central biblical scene of Jonathon, Joshua and Nathaniel.

A conservation project was undertaken in 2006 to repair the windows. Broken and missing sections of glass were replaced. Repairs were made to the lead to prevent water ingress causing further damge.

The memorials were installed in 1922/3 as a bequest from Dr Chester. They were designed by John Ives and made by J. Wippell and Co. Ltd of Exeter.
