Buckland Brewer war memorial before work © Buckland Brewer Parish Council, 2005Buckland Brewer war memorial is a celtic cross constructed of Cornish granite. An inscription and names are recorded on the plinth and shaft of the memorial. The memorial stands on the green in the village.

War Memorials Trust gave £150 towards conservation work on the memorial. This included cleaning of the memorial, some re-lettering, re-enamalling of the inscription and soft landscaping work around the memorial.

The inscription on the memorial reads:
